87 years after B.T. and Leota Loftus founded our family's hop farm in 1932, we harvested something new: our first-ever barley crop. Now in our second season as barley farmers, we are proud to share with you the Bale Breaker Homegrown Beer series featuring 100% homegrown hops and 100% homegrown barley.
Release No. 4 in the series is a fresh hop IPA. Made with freshly harvested, homegrown Simcoe wet hops transported from farm to fermenter in under five minutes, this beer features intense aromas of hoppy peach cobbler. We Grew This Beer.
Malt: Homegrown Pilsner, Munich & Vienna
Hops: Simcoe® Wet Hops, Simcoe®, Mosaic®, Citra®
Malt: BBBC House Strain

16oz can pours out crisp clean golden topped with a white head. Nose is leaf hops some sweetness. Taste is more of the nice sweet fruit notes and leaf hops.

16 oz. Aroma has notes of pineapple, pine, dankness, Smarties. Pours hazy orange-golden with a one finger white head with good retention. It settles into a cap of foam after a little bit and stays there. Taste is moderately bittersweet with a hint of savory and a lingering pithy finish. Very solid.
