Heart Trail will change season to season, and we're very happy to welcome summer this week with a new variant. A classic New England IPA, Heart Trail Summer pours light colored and hazy. This year's Heart Trail Summer was fermented with a thiolized English ale strain that, paired with a heavy dose of mash hopping, creates intensely fruit forward fermentation aromatics to complement a double dry hop of Idaho Gem and HBC 586. The nose is layered with white grape, nectarine, and strawberry aromas, while the flavor leans more towards tropical fruit, especially lychee. Each sip ends with a moderate bitterness and light minerality, adding to the overall complexity of Heart Trail Summer.

Can pour from The Beer Store, Salem. Opaque, murky dark yellow-light brown with decent sparkle, full head with fair retention and nice, splotchy lacing. Aroma is strong apricot, stone fruit, tart citrus, mild herb. Taste is strong passion fruit, mango, grain. Smooth, thick, frothy texture, soft carbonation, tart/grainy finish. Decent complexity and strength but don't love these fruits. Good.

8 oz. Aroma is peach, passionfruit-ish. Flavor Apricot, passionfruit and a very mild tone of grapefruit. Secondly The fruit is vibrant throughout. Zero bitterness with a lot of juicy texture. Very easy going down.

Draft. Slightly hazy golden beer with a whitish head. Tropical fruit aroma. tropical fruit and summer fruit flavor with light herbal notes. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Tropical fruit and summer fruit linger with light spice.
