xAt BrewDog we're pretty excited about everything to do with making new beers. So excited that we decided each of our bars should get the opportunity to come up to the brewery and make a beer of their own. From recipe development through to getting knee deep in malts as they dig out the mash tun, this is the beginning of a new BrewDog story; the story of our bar brews.

The beers are named according to the bar they originated from and the bars opening order. The bar beer names are:

Draft at Shepherd’s Bush BrewDog on 7 December 2013. Poured a hazy, dark brown with dense off white head. Nutty aroma with some grassy hop and dark chocolate. Flavours of dark fruit, orange peal and earthy dryness. Finish was pine needles, burnt toast and biscuity malt.

Brewdog Shepherds Bush. Keg. Murky red - brown beer with a small pale cream coloured head. Palate is soft and semi dry. Light malt cream. Mellow skunky hops. A touch of unsweet red berry fruits underneath, slightly jammy. The skunky hops turn mildy minty pine. Semi dry finish. Somewhat offbeat but pretty drinkable.
