Tap at Brewdog, Leeds. Thick as a bag, murky brown. Minimal head. Looks horrible. Nutty, light cocoa maltiness. Lots of pine resin. Taste is light sweet, and medium bitter. Medium body to the palate. Light cocoa bitterness to finish. Odd.

Keg at BD on da Bush, 09/04/14. Hazed dark amber/chestnut brown with a moderate light beige covering. Nose is hoppy, bitter citric, caramel malt, light pine, grapefruit, spice, Ribena berry pangs. Taste comprises tangy red berry fruits, earthy hops, light pine, Ribena berry, caramel come biscuit malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok hoppy brown.

Keg BD Camden. It pours deep red-amber with a medium yellowish-white head. The nose is fairly restrained….earthy, wood, caramel and some citrus peel. The taste is bitter, earthy, light spice, pine, resin, red fruits, citrus peel and a touch of caramel with a rather dry, bitter finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Seems to be lacking a bit of BrewDog bite. Fine, but I would always choose 5am over this.

Keg at Brewdog Edinburgh. Hazy brown pour, thin off-white head. Some grapefruit and malt aromas, quite light though. Taste brings more out, mixed dried fruit and toffee. Clean finish. Grew on me.
