Black, with a thin head. Roasty malts and leafy hops on the nose. Medium body, some roasted malt acidity that sort of thins it out a bit. The sugars aren't bad, but maybe more would be better. The roast and hop bitterness is abundant, and it has an off-dry finish. Pretty good stout; seems inspired by what St. Ambroise used to be.

(Can) clear, bright, very dark brown colour with a small brown head; aroma of roast, jam; balanced flavour with a long, light bittersweet finish with a hint of mineral
