Bottled. Black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is lactic, ashy, toffee and alcohol. Flavour is similar, but lactic, ashy, liquorice and alcohol. Good, but a bit on the boozy side.

Bottle from Kihoskh. Black with a lasting brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate, wood and light port. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and roasted moderate bitter finish with a little warming alcohol. Soft, oily and smooth. 230715

Nice light brown slightly bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly rich and dry, dark malts, oak, chocolate, dark sugar, grass, caramel, roasted nuts, grain. Taste is slightly dry boozy, minerals, oak, weeds, booze, paper, grass, dark malts, bark, grain, burnt caramel. Medium bitterness, slightly harsh boozy and mineraly mouthfeel. Fair enough, but not really my cup of tea.

Bottle @ DØE Kissmeyer tasting. Pours pitch black with a small light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, dark chocolate, wood, light tartness, oak, portwine, ripe red wine grapes. Flavor is ligh sweet, malts, caramel, oak, sweet tawny port, grapes, dried fruit. Medium body, oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation, light warming alcohol. 1706153

Getrunken 2015 auf der Braukunst live in München.
EIn Meisterwerk der Braukunst und eine Geschmacksexplosion auf der Zunge. Keine Ahnung, ob es noch produziert wird und ob ich es jemals wiedertrinken kann, aber einen Schluck kann man immer empfehlen.

Servert fra flaske av AK himself på Amagerbro Ølfest: nesten helt svart, filmskum. Vidunderlig kompleks aroma og smak. Bjørnebær, solbær, Anton Berg marsipanbrød, kaffe, vanilje. Superb, og med en laang eftersmag.

Bottle 500ml. [ As Kissmeyer Barrel Reserve Dark Side of the Moon ].Clear dark dark brown color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is light heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, wood, oak, alcohol. Flavour is light heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, oak, wood, roasted, chocolate, blackcurrant ? Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. Very nice balance and quit easy to drink :D [20141031]
