I had another visit to the brewery, got to sample Stampede. They served it in a tulip glass, it arrived a nice gold-amber with a broad skim of a finely-bubbled, white head. The smell is lemon and pineapple. And the taste is pine cone, pineapple and biscuit. A quite good effort from a small, Texas brewery.

(tap) clear, bright, orange amber colour with a small white head; aroma of orange marmalade; balanced flavour with a long, light bitter finish; well hidden alcohol
