Eit kopparfarga øl med middels bitterheit og god humlearoma md noko maltkarakter. Ølet passar godt til ost og kraftige rettar.

500ml bottle, batch 208, picked up at Vinmonopolet Langnes Tromsø. Pours a hazy apricot coloured body. Slowly fading white head, lacing rings down the glassware. Smell of orange hoppy fruits with mid-dry malty sweetness beneath. Rather sappy taste profile of orange added by mid-sweet malts with a touch of smoke. Dry bittersweet, resin-like, ending, long-lived. Medium bodied. Fine food matching to a salty soup. Likable (Tromsø 23.03.2014).

50cl bottle (#208) from Vinmonopolet, Storo. Pours slightly hazy caramel coloured to amber with a lasting, but small off-white head. Malty and slightly fruity aroma with notes of caramel, tropical fruits and hints of pine and yeast. Fairly sweet and malty, quite pleasant fruity flavours, but a fairly mild bitterness. Fair enough, but more hops wouldn’t hurt...

0.5l bottle from #201. Not much of a head, have to struggle to get a small quite bubbly little white foam top over a cloudy almost bronze amber colored body. Really resinous nose with pine, lots of malt sweetness, some wet almost silo grassy thing and a little bit of ripe fruits. English style perhaps? It's quite gentle and soft on the carbonation and it has a gliding oily mouthfeel. It's quite resinous and almost wood dry in the mouth. Malt sweet, old grass with over ripe fruits, lots of earthy nuts and canned peach. Well, not completely my kind of IPA this, a tad to sweet perhaps and it lacks a real bitterness but it's definitely drinkable. 28.01.2014

Small bubbly mediumlasting head. Aroma is very strange, caramel malts, shed, hay, wet grain, hydraulic oil, leafs. Taste is slightly harsh, lightly smoked malts, harsh hay, bark, grain, sugar, weeds. Medium bitterness, dry harsh VERY watery mouthfeel. Horrible!!

Bottle. Pours hazy rust with an airy finger thick head. Nice sweet hoppy aroma with pine and some zesty orange peel, as well as roasted malts and some smoky whiffs of peat. Quite full body wih soft carbonation. Flavour is bitter hops with orange peel, as well as a solid sweetly roasted malt back bone with caramel and peat. Finishes of with a nice long and balanced citrusy orange peel hoppines, making this a nice, mellow and drinkable IPA.
