Sample at the Columbus taproom during the Can Taproom Release: Barrel-Aged Panic Switch event on 10/06/2018. Brown-black pour with a medium khaki head that recedes gradually to a film. Patchy lacing. Aroma of bourbon, malt and chocolate. Full-bodied with flavors of oaky bourbon, chocolate malt, roast nuts and coffee. The finish is boozy nutty liqueur-infused coffee. Good beer all around.

Sampled on draft at Hugo's this beer poured a black color with a medium sized foamy brown head that faded and left no lacing. The aroma was cocoa, anise, dark fruit and coffee. The flavor was malty and toasty with cocoa, anise, a hint of dark fruit, coffee, vanilla and a boozy presence. Very long finish with growing booziness. Full bodied.

Tap. Pours opaque black, minimal head or lacing. Aroma is rich cocoa, vanilla, bourbon, molasses, marshmallow. Flavor is sweet, light bitter, rich with lots of booze accents without being boozy. Well hidden abv. Full body, creamy mouthfeel, low carbonation. Quite enjoyable.
