Bottled, from Systembolaget. Pitch black, no head. Chocolate sauce and slicovic dominate the nose. Very sweet with full body and rounded, syrupy mouthfeel. Treacle, molasses, madeira, crude oil and slivovic. Notes of salmiak in a peppery heated finish. Big, heavy beer. Too much so.

Flaska från SB. En stor och söt dessert-IS. Riktigt stor och tung kropp som bär de söta smakerna och alkholen. Massor av choklad, fudge, sötlakrits, russin, vanilj, kaffe, mörk torkad frukt. Riktigt gott. Det enda som förbryllade var att bottensatsen var tjock som kräm. Skumt.

Flaska från SB. Smak och doft av mörk choklad, kaffe, torkad frukt som russin, plommon, farinsocker, karamell, lakrits med toner av aska. Fina smaker, välbalanserad, lagom sötma, rund och len, stor kropp, lätt beska med smak av bitter mörk choklad och aska.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaque black with hardly any head at all. Sweet roast and dried, dard fruits in the nose. Very rich body, close to no carbonation, plum juice, a little vanillaish, sweet and rich and scaringly drinkable. Not very roasty, rather smoothish. Lovely. 040215

Bottle, at What’s Brewing. It pours an unclear, brown body under a finger-thick light tan head. The aroma has alcohol, it’s rather boozy and vinous, with chocolate, coffee, cocoa, melasses and caramel sauce. It’s full-bodied and warming on the palate, quite soft, with lots of booze, as well as a whole lot of chocolate, coffee, molasses and caramel sauce. Lasting finish. It really is too boozy this one, but it’s a damn fine one anyway. Lovely actually. 141031

Bottle from SB Majorna (last) cons 2014-11-21 Göteborg AR: fat rich chocolate, vanilla cookies, wee spicey AP: dark brown body, stouthy wee thick almost black head F: thick dark chocolate, vanilla cookies, coffey with milk, thick, wee oily consistence, rye bread, sweet liqurice, warming feeling - great brew! Zipping some more and findes some Oreo cookies in milk.

Draught @ [ DOE - Olfestival Kobenhavn 2014 ] @ Tap1, Ny Carlsbergvej 91, 1760 Copenhagen, Denmark. [ As All In Brewing / Stronzo 100% Viking ].Clear dark black brown color with virtually none head. Aroma is heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, berries, raisin, prunes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted, berries, chocolate, dry, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat, finish feel is alcoholic. [20140523]

Bottle shared at the RBESG 2014, grand tasting 09/08/2014 Moncada Brewery. Thanks to Ronny. Viscous thick caraeml brown coloured pour opaque pour with no head. Aroma is nutty, woody, slight mould, raspberry, smoke. Flavour is smoked malts, caramel, raspberry jammy fruits. Palate is full bodied, viscous and pretty sweet. Sticky on the tongue.

Pitch black. light head that fades fast..oh and thanks Angst for sending this one! split 2 ways in stemware @ Cellar temperature.Nose is loaded with cocoa nibs and chocolate milk with a tough of whiskey, oak and rye spices. Very boozy but that fades pretty fast and gives this very strong chocolate presence. Mild green pepper taste, slight soy sauce but overall the mouthfeel is thick viscou and delicious.
