Roman Candle is the first IPA we ever brewed, back when we first got reliable access to Citra and decided to base a beer around it.
Dry-hopped at the rate of our Double IPAs, perfectly balanced, and showcasing bright citrusy aromatics, “Rocan” has earned a place among our favourites.
What it smells and tastes like: It’s a lightly resinous, balanced IPA that showcases lots of juicy melon and orange peel.

A sharp fruit hop nose. Fresh hops with a big citra grapefruit and pineapple presence. A NE IPA with some good old fashioned astringency. Love it.

Sample at the Shelton Festival. Pours a hazy, pale, yellow color, with a medium, frothy, white head. The aroma is pine, apple, earth, syrup, and orange peel. Dry and dusty, with a big bitterness. Light to medium body, with a hard, sticky, and grainy mouthfeel. This is a harsh, but solid IPA. Nice.
