On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is cocoa and dark fruit. Medium mouth, rich, chocolate, toffee, light dry finish, good.

Tap. Pours reddish deep hazel, medium tan head, decent lacing. Aroma is malty, nutty. Flavor is dry, minimal bitterness, malty, a hint of smoke. No real astringence. Light body. Not bad.

Can 12fl.oz. [ As NOLA Brown Ale ].Clear medium to dark brown color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, dark malt, sour malt, light roasted. Flavour is moderate sweet and light acidic with a long duration, tart malt - fruit, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140517]

Draft at the source. Clear deep amber brown color. Aroma of chocolate covered brownies. Taste is coffee grounds. Nice.

Can @ America Strikes Back, Ulfborg. Pours clear darkish copper brown, with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and fruit, with notes of hops and yeast. Sourish flavour, with notes of citrus and malt, and irregular hoppy touches. Sourish aftertaste. Not very impressive.

Pours clear reddish brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel and red berries. Taste is light sweet and light sour. Body is light, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Can, 3.9%. Clear dark amber/brown with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, caramel, fruit, little bread and a little sour. Flavour is malt, caramel, bread, little sour, little acetone and a little chocolate.

Draft - Toasted malts and light chocolate. Dark brown with a rich but thin light brown head. Toasted malts, light chocolate and toffee. Basic but very well done.
