8 years old. Dark brown with a small off-white head. Malty aroma with toffee, dried fruit and dessert wine. Sweetish malty flavour with dark dried fruit and a touch of roasted malt. Oxidised, but in a nice way.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Red amber colour. MOderate malty and light hoppy molasse aroma. Moderate sweet and light bitter flavor. Candis. Average light bitter sweet finish. Oily palate.

Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, sweet malt, meat, sugary, alcohol, light toasted and roasted. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration, sweet malt, dried fruit, sugary, alcohol. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is light to moderate alcoholic. [20141025]

Bottle. An hazy, brown beer topped by a small, dense, light beige head. The aroma is rather boozy, with some oxidation notes, roasted malts and lots of caramel. Notes of prunes and brown sugar. A bit dead on the palate, full-bodied and warming, almost cloyingly sweet. Caramel, some roasted malts and prunes in the flavor. Lasting warming finish. Quite pleasant, but way too alcoholic. 141025
