In life, Jutsu is all about stealthy ninja techniques (well actually techniques, skills, methods, tricks, or spells according to Wikipedia) but in beer it’s a fantastically balanced pale ale. A clean malt character provides the perfect base for the fruity, juicy hops to take centre stage. Easy drinking with low bitterness.

No. 2 = brewed with Simcoe, Amarillo, Cascade and Centennial hops.

Huh, so we’re differentiating beers on brewing versions? Alright, so this is V2. Cloudy orange-hued yellow. Nice juicy hops nose of citrus, resin and a touch of the cat wizzle. Taste is cereal malt base with a well-balanced coating of hop happiness. Resin, pine, citrus. Medium hop, not overwhelming by today’s hop bomb standards. Damn fine. I could destroy these on a patio in the sun. (Or knowing my liver, they would destroy me.) No more versions. Stop now Bellwoods.

(bottle) hazy orange amber colour with a medium tall beige head; aroma of stewed fruit, tropical fruit; clean, balanced flavour with a long medium bitter finish; very nice
