On tap at Humpy’s in the Anchorage airport.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking hazy amber to red color with a bar pour’s kind of slim white head that dissipated within seconds. Light stringy lacing slid down at a nice pace.
The smell had a good authentic raspberry up front, nice and lively.
The taste was the same carrying a light wheaty bite in the aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was a bit lowered but shows no concern given the wheat plays a bigger part to even the beer out.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good raspberry wheat ale that I would have again.

(tap) listed now as just ’Raspberry Wheat’; cloudy reddish colour with small reddish head; aroma of raspberry, cereal; taste is raspberry, balanced, not sweet or cloying or artificial like many fruit beers, light short bitter finish, excellent - the best raspberry wheat I have had yet
