Draft taster at RBY. Yeah, I’m probably overselling this beer, but it was just so good. A deep brown beer body under a big frothy head of brown bubbles. Sweet smell of cherry vanilla liqueur overlaying a bourbon and stout nose. Lower alcohol indicates no "burn," and no abundance of sticky malt. Taste starts with the slight sting of roast stout malts. Then sweet, not tart, cherries. Chocolate sets in right afterward, then those vanilla notes, like they’ve lined up for a parade. Light mouthfeel, a little alcohol "vapor," but no warming or burn. Nice cherry flourish at the end.
