Yeah, it’s still the usual ballpark prices ($11 for this 16-ouncer), but I still count this as a great step up. Now to the beer. Light Pilsener yellow color, which tends to indicate an American Pale Ale. Pours a nice head of foam from the can to the plastic cup. Taste has a little more sharp bitterness than the Revolution Suncrusher I had before this. Malts tend to the light, summer beer side. Had I not looked at the can, I’d never have known this was a 7% abv beer. Since we were walking around to all the new beer-centric attractions at what will always be Comiskey Park to me, it was pretty easy to work off the extra alcohol. So my impression, wrong as it may be, was of a beer that’s light in malts, yet sharp in hop bitterness and finish.
