On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber with a slight amber hue and a tan head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of bitter citrus with a bit of flora and a grain backbone. Flavor combines citrus and flora with a bit of light fruit and a grain backbone.

Point at RBY. More unnoticed than the Chilsner, with an amber brown body under a thin layer of Pale Ale foam. Smell is rather yeah, like a Belgian Ale. Could be the house style under best Jim Wolfer, whom I don’t believe I’ve sampled before. Taste is also yeasty, then shows up some nice today malts, even a bit of caramel. Despite the heaviness implicit in the name and description, this is a nice drinkable Ale. A much better impression of this brewer’s art.
