Served from firkin at Mariano’s, made with fresh mint from Mariano’s, so the brewer tells me. Cloudy yellowish color with a thin layer of foam. Light malt smell with an edge of cucumber, yet tending toward pickle for me. The taste has a bit more fizz than the average cask pull. It is a bit syrupy for a lighter beer. The mint adds a bit to the palate’s "middle," but the cucumber here is more forward than Goose island’s Cucumbersome, which is the only other cucumber beer I have to go by. Think I’ll call this an experiment I was glad to take part in, but do not care to repeat.
