Taster at Standard Market. Dark licorice and coffee are the first things I smell when I stick my bulbous nose into the tiny goblet glass. Deep call brown, kicked up some nice brown foam out of the tap, but it disappeared quickly. Taste is thick, syrupy and coffee-y, like a Kailua. Plenty of roasty malt. Licorice turns out much lighter in the palate, which I agree with. Could become this town’s next Big Hugs, so try it while there’s still plenty to go around.
