Sampler at HTH. Slightly brownish pale ale color, thin, leggy foam. Smell made me think right away of SNPA. The taste bore this impression through. A big citrus and pine northwestern hop bouquet sits on a somewhat caramel toasty malt bill. Like an SNPA, it is very easy to just gulp down in spite of its big boatload of hops, which are more aromatic than bitter. A slight fruity ester from ale fermentation helps too.
