From tap. Pours clear and golden yellew. Small white head. Aroma is grassy and straw. Bitter and grassy flavoured. Dry and crisp bitter finish.

Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a light copper with a half finger of white head. Aroma of caramel and grains. Taste is similar. Lightly bitter with some herbal hops and light metallic notes. Medium bodied with a somewhat thin texture. Fizzy carbonation and a surprisingly long finish. Pretty good. Much better than I was expecting.

Draft at the Berghoff. Clean amber color with a light stream of bubbles feeding a half-finger head. Malty smell that comes through in the taste, but it also carries an impression of salt. I had the same with the DortWunder the day before, and it may be simply the same water profile, which involves some calcium and sodium. So maybe Randy Mosher was going for a "house" lager style. But the malt is fuller to make up for it, and the hops are lighter as befits the style. I will have to try to dunkel to see if they do share some traits.
