Draft nonick at Emmett’s Downers Grove. Amber color, thin clingy ale foam at the top.Smell is just of general malt, ho real hint of honey. Taste is very forward with rye: spicy malt, again, not that sweet, with just a suggestion of honey flavor. I get a lot of fresh hops, but then I was picking hops this morning, and the smell may be on my hands. But those hops are in the taste as well. Dry finish but for the hops on the tongue and the spicy malt on the palate.
