So swamped by old notes it’s not funny. Here’s the beer I tasted in April at Cellar Door. Nice golden pils color, looks a little hazy with some thick but dwindling foam. Slightly grainy, sourish smell, perhaps. But taste is just on target for a light beer style. Slightly baked biscuit malt with a note of honey. German hops are quite sharp and peppery. Despite the light abv, a full shaker is pretty substantial. No watered-down megabrew this. I keep comparing it to a pils, but it only lacks the Czech hard water profile to make an examplar.
