Thick and black with a huge foamy dark brown head. Very strong vanilla & almond biscotti, anise, boozy and roasty malt. Very long finish. Thick and full bodied

Tap at Rotary Grove Fest. They had to put off a lot of foam to get up (past) the 2 oz. plimsoll. Black beer, with almond shell foam. Smell is big on almond and vanilla, unfortunately, a lot like some scented soaps. Beer itself has a nice thick mouthfeel. I'm not sure I'm crazy about the biscotti flavors. Some nice cocoa and coffee wins out at the end.
