We have been infusing our Original lager on single-origin French Oak for the last six months. This type of oak is typically used for lighter French white wines, whose light toast lends itself to playing a complementary role on a nuanced lager such as our Original. Subtle notes of vanilla and wood present on the nose, followed by a welcomed tannic experience to balance the malty sweetness and encourage another sip.

16oz can. Rather awesome oak forward beer. Oak taste is big, coupled with the excellent body and delicate subtle perfection of their original lager. World Class stuff, quite delicious.

The usual good light lager color, a head that's leaving behind some lace. I am imagining I do catch some oak wood on the nose. Taste is nice and mellow, almost like a store-bought light lager, but with extra malt and taste. Interesting that I think I'm actually tasting oak. In memory of, what, a tongue depressor? Some woody resin? Either way, it adds a bit of sharpness to the taste.
