Can't call the taste anything but crisp. A bit more German hop sharpness than I'd expect from a lighter lager. Kind of peppery to go with the bitterness. Ready to drink, yet worth sipping. It's just a bit hearty and filling. Only taking the testing down a notch for some yeast that might want to settle out some more.
