Lightning Will

Draft. Nice golden color, slight have, thin ring of foam around the edge. Light lager nose… this was served colder than the porter previous, so the nose is a bit chilled out. Tastes nice, though: shares Noble hop on the tongue, light bready malt ada for a nice crisp beer impression. Picking up some extra body you wouldn't find in a mega lager. Always that slight thread of pear juice in the background too.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is am ok pils malt. Smells like beer. Flavor is a decent bready malt with some bitterness. This was kind of a no frills pils but pretty drinkable.

On tap at Dante’s in Chicago. Solid pilsener, proper carbonation and finish, what else would you want?

Sample at GABF 10/05/2019, thanks to kathryneels for assistance with note-taking. Clear golden color with a thin white head that burns away quickly to a film. Spotty lace. Grassy hop, fruit and malt aromas. Light-bodied with flavors of mildly spicy hops, fruit and grainy malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short grassy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.
