Bottle. Just slightly cloudy dark orange sporting a big white head. Aroma of marmelade, grass and biscuits. Taste of oranges, biscuits, grass, marmelade, some herbs. Oily and quite bitter. Medium carbonation. Balanced and very flavourful. Great.

Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate hoppy, grass, flowers, citrus, fruity, perfume. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, perfume - flowers, grass, hoppy, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20141004]

Pours orange with a massive head (gusher alert). Aroma of caramely malts, toffee, grassy hops, hints of citrus and earthy notes. Taste is crisp, sweet and malty with some caramel, toffee and grass. Finish is sweetish and malty with some toffee and caramel. Quite malty and sweet for a bitter.

Süffiger, etwas trockener Beginn mit runden Hopfennoten. Getreidig, frisch, die Getreidigkeit steigt. Schmeckt nach deutlich mehr als 4%, wirklich gelungen. Rund hopfiger Abgang. 10/9/10/10/12/11

Flasche (1 l) von der Brauerei. - Helles Goldbraun, trüb. - In der Nase angenehm fruchtig-herber „englischer“ Hopfen: Bitterorange, Gras, Heu. - Antrunk herb-frisch und enorm fruchtig-bitter mit Orangenschale, Gras, Pampelmuse. Zart malzsüß mit ganz leichtem Karamelmalz. Gut rezent, schlank im Mund. Fruchtiger, intensiv hopfenherber Abgang von köstlicher Bittere; intensiver hopfig-bitterer Nachtrunk. - Erstklassig gehopftes Bitter, das seinen englischen Vorbildern wenig nachsteht und trotz des eher niedrigen Ethanolgehalts keineswegs leichtgewichtig wirkt.
