Like California sunshine in a bottle, Hop Cuvée radiates a golden hue with brilliant clarity and bright effervescence. It is a crisp, citrusy and tropical ale with a touch of pine-like bitterness and a clean, dry finish. Refreshing and sessionable, Hop Cuvée satisfies both hop lovers and craft beer newbies. 12 oz bottle, thanks brenn79. Aroma is doughy, light perfume, age. Pours hazy golden with a one finger white head that falls after a minute, leaving a little lace. Taste is lightly sweet with a significant bitter backing. Tastes a little old. Not too good. It would probably taste okay fresh, I’m sure. I can’t find a date anywhere.

12 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy murky orange with a small white head. Nose brings out earthy notes and astringent resinous hops - not good balance. Flavour is along the same lines, with vegetal herbal notes, some resin and bready malt. Pretty simple - nothing special but not offensive at least. Meh.

Bottle thanks to Eugene. Pours a hazy gold with small white head. The aroma is grass and earthy malt. Medium mouth, spruce, citrus, herbal, light bitterness, decent.

Pretty nice pour but I see the descript says brilliant clarity, not. There are lots of precipitants floating around in this beer. Nice rocky head from a bottle. Smell is slightly off dull hops. Yes, lots of hops in this pale ale, and its bitter, but bitter in an almost imperceptible way compared to an IPA. Yes, mild IPA thing happening here. Bitterness grows during the session and manifests itself into a near medicinal feel on the palate. Yes, bitter thing on the finish fer sure, lasts for a while. Not impressed but not over the top either I guess.
