Actually pretty decent. I didn't know the Veil had it in them to make a non adjunct laden stout under 45%. Roast and caramel. Some coffee, dark chocolate. Black pour with initial micha head that dissipates pretty quickly. Bitter sweet finish with some bourbon tang. Can.

16oz can. Poured a motor oil black color with a small white head. Aroma was dark chocolate, roasted malts. Got bakers chocolate from this one. Flavor was dry, dark roasted malts, bakers chocolate. Huge and warming. Quite a tasty beer.

5 oz draft. Maybe served to cold. I wanted to get more from this then just bourbon and soft chocolate. Willet reigns supreme here. Bold bourbon. Not much else. Just ok compared to everything else we had today at this Black Friday Event.

Can - viscous black pour - nose is vanilla, bourbon, espresso, oak - creamy texture - medium-sweet, but with a semi-sharp acidity and roast on the tail end - the young stout character is bitter and a little on the rough side - the barrel-aged stouts blended in are present, but overpowered by the brashness of the young beer - some oak and spirits hide in the background as overly bitter roastiness blasts the palate through the finish - needs more BA beer blended in to balance.
