Our crisp, malty Radapils is named after Radagast, the old Slavic god of hospitality, fire, and the evening sky, as well as a wizard of Middle-earth. Czech Saaz and German Hersbrucker hops contribute light herbal and floral aromas to provide balance to classic lager flavors in this extraordinarily smooth brew. Best enjoyed with friends under starlight.

Can from Dasha: pours pale gold with a white head. Aroma is grassy and mineral. Taste is lightly bitter, super crisp, very refreshing.

Draft pour at Väsen. Poured a clear, slightly dark yellow color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was really pleasant lager notes. Very mild, grassy character, but not overly sharp, light grain. Super crushable. I almost get a Belgian yeast character from this I don't know what type of yeast was used. Cool stuff.

Pint can thanks to hershiser2, 10/26/20. Clear vibrant golden amber, thin fizzy tan head, fair retention. Aroma of grass, lemon, apple. Taste is lemon, cider apple, bready malt. Thin, crisp, lingering bitterness. 17.4k apparently.

Ever so slightly hazy golden coloured body with a thinnish, relatively fast-dying, but frothy white head that is pretty ugly and not too pleasant. Aroma of biscuity malts, grain, flowers, hay, yeast, bread and a good dose of lemons with a lot of pungency and astringency with the metal, yeast and biscuits the strongest. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong, very crisp lager and biscuity notes dominate with some alcohol, citrus, pungent grain, yeast, bread and floral notes all coming through, quite strongly with a dry bite but not too much complexity and a relatively simplistic punch, but that's pungent as well. Aftertaste shows some coriander seed, a light deal of wheat, but the yeast, bread, citrus and especially astringent grainy and herbal, biscuity malts dominate in this one and are quite bitter, in a deep and simplistic way. Overall, a crisp, deep and bitter beer that is malty, yeastie and showing a lot of lager biscuity qualities that don't subside at all. Nice enough to try, but a bit too herbal, grainy and assertive to be considered a great or even good lager. Nice to sample this one locally and the name makes me pine for the days where I could travel anywhere, however in the days of a fake pandemic, I'm stuck here. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 24-August-2020 for US$3,99 sampled at my house here in Washington, exactly two months later on 24-October-2020 on perhaps (hopefully) the last warm (70+ deg F) day here of the calendar year.
