Some smile and some oak. Doesn't really come together super well. Kind of like sour oak water. Dark brown pour with ok head. Tangy finish with lingering smoke. Tap at Churchkey.

bottle at ATG... deep red brown.. thin white lacing... soft sweet caramel toffee malts nose... dark chocolate.. light bonfire smoke... fruity.. Light funk...Mellow woody.. Light red wine

Keg pour at ISBF 2022 in Manchester. Pours deep brown with a foamy beige cap. Light toasted malts, hints of smoke, light to moderate brett character, Thin body with foamy carbonation. Not quite as funky as most of Epochal beers I've sampled. Fair one.
