Traditional Dry Irish Stout brewed in collaboration with Bluejacket of Washington DC. True to style with a grist comprised primarily of roasted and flaked barley. Pours jet black with dense white head. Rich, roast character with notes of coffee and dark chocolate. Light bodied, smooth, and creamy mouthfeel (especially notable when served via nitro). Refreshingly bone dry with moderate hop bitterness.

Nonic at The Roost pours a murky brown/black with some beige, clinging head. Nose has malt and toast and chocolate, yeast. Flavor isn't quite as good or as clear, the roast falls off and there's and odd pale grist thing happening, some toast. Some coffee. Dry finish. Solid. 8 4 7 4 13
