Gigi’s Jam pours dark with dark purple and ruby highlights and opens with aromas of Fig Newtons, blackberry laced chocolate cake, and port wine. Second to that is fig...how to describe the feeling of having your senses of taste and smell assaulted by Fig Newtons...The flavor starts with blackberry and is slightly tart and toothsome. Layers of dark fruit, rich malt, and fig complement the tartness of the blackberry, which is evenly rounded out by the addition of chocolate. The experience wraps up with a full-bodied, velvety mouthfeel.
