Draft at the brewery taproom. Pours clear, deep brown with a creamy, tan head. The nose holds faint roasted malts, light tangy fruits, leather. Light sweet flavour with some leathery fruits, bitter coffee, earth. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Strongly bitter on the finish, with more earth, coffee and tangy fruits. Not very cohesive, or pleasant.

Draft - Dark roast and a touch of chocolate. Deep dark brown with a small light brown head. Over sweet dark chocolate and nutty notes.

Draught at Discretion Brewing. Almost clear deep brown liquid with small to medium light tan head. Aroma of coffee, light licorice, toast, light ash, toast and bread. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with notes of citrus, coffee, chocolate and chalk. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Very astringent, once again. Fuck you.

On draft at Tap 25. It pours a dark brown color with a light tan head. The aroma is candy bar like with peanuts, milk chocolate and nougat. Hints of coffee. The flavor is the same. Tons of cocoa, peanuts and roasted malt. Nice thick body to support all the sweet flavors. Very sweet and dessert-like, but it finishes on a dry, roasted note. I thought for a moment this was another peanut butter stout, but I guess I was wrong. Good stuff!

[2/16/15] Draught at Discretion Brewing in Soquel. Dark brown. Aroma of roast, coffee and a bit of nuts. Sweetish roasty flavor with coffee, toast and a bitterish finish. Medium-bodied.

290814. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, nuts, hop. Flavour is sweet, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, nuts, hop. Medium body. OK beer.

[ As Discretion Scenic Stout ].Clear dark black brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark roasted, moderate chocolate and coffee. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted, chocolate, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140829]

Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aroma is hardroasted malty and breadish. Bitter, dark malty and hardroasted. Dry and breadish. Chocolate. Lingering dark malty, mild acidic into the finish.

Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel, lactose and oat. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long creamy chocolate ad caramel finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
