Small creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly fresh, citrus, hay, yeast, citrus peel, apples, wheat, pepper. Taste is mild and fresh, citrus, grass, hay, yeast, citrus peel, wheat. Medium bitterness. Very refreshing, nice one in a Norwegian scale.

500ml bottle, brygg: 110, ca 4.5% abv., beer gift after a lecture in Levanger on early modern witchcraft. Yellow coloured body with a slight haze. Film-type layer, dotted spots to the glassware. Spiced citrus to the nose. Sweet and reasonable tart taste character with lemon at its core. Semi-dry fruity ending. Not overly sweet. Fresh, smooth and mild (hotel room, 20.11.2012).

Kledelig disig med tydelig, balansert, men ikke overdrevet preg av krydder. Bra.

500 ml shared bottle at local tasting. ABV is 4.5%. Pale golden colour, hazy when the yeast is poured in the end. Moderate white head. Pleasant and typical witbier aroma, notes of citrus and coriander. Refreshing flavour, true to style (citrus and coriander again, but not too much). Very enjoyable.

Bottled, from the brewpub. Hazy pale golden, small head. Rich juicy coriander aroma. Sweetish with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Juicy with plenty of coriander. Very distinct witbier with concentrated flavours. One of the tastier beers of it’s kind, even if the flavour concentrations somewhat hampers drinkability.
