This beer is named in honor of our beloved bartender Steve and how I’m surprised he still shows up daily. This beer is packed with some of our favorite hops: Citra, Simcoe, and Mosaic. It is juicy, some dank and tropical, just like Steve! Cheers to Steve!

The beer is a bright golden tan. It’s fairly cloudy. The head is white and leaves a moderate amount of lacing on the glass. The aroma is tropical fruit and tangerine hoppiness. Big on pineapple, orange, papaya. Very mild crackery malt note. Mild bitterness. A bit spicier in the taste. More orange juice, rather than tropical sweetness. Easy to drink. Nice and light. Dry finish. Normal carbonation. Good stuff.

On tap at the brewery. Aroma has a medium light pale, cracker malt note. Good fruity and citrus hop aromas. Pours a hazy, gold with a small, white head that lingers for quite some time on the edges. Moderate lacing and small legs. Flavor has a light sweetness with some pale, cracker malt notes. Moderate bitterness. Moderate hop notes with citrus dominating and lighter tropical fruit. Faint stone fruit as well. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringnecy and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a great pale ale. Slightly sweeter than New Beer Smell. More citrus and less tropical fruit. It’s nice.
