This is a single hopped pale ale with Centennial hops which were for years described as “super cascade.” Centennial can be Cascade like but it can also be floral and rosy, or citrus forward. All we know is that these are the best Centennials we’ve seen with a pungent lemon peel aroma that rules. Enjoy!

The beer is bright copper and quite clear. Solid enough white head. Good lacing, retention. Lots going on for an all Centennial beer. Surprisingly bright with sweet lemon peel. Pine backbone. Not sure I would have picked it out if not for the description, but it does smell of roses somewhat. Some honey-ish caramel malt in the background. Taste is moderately bitter - maybe medium bitter (awesome description, I know) - and rather dry. A bit blander of a hop flavor. More pine and grapefruit pith but there’s still some nice citrus and floral notes bouncing around. Light with mild hop oiliness. Solid beer and fun to see them make a single hop beer because they liked a particular batch of hops.

Tap. Pours crystal clear amber good, small white head, good lacing. Aroma is pretty light, pine, citrus, a bit floral. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, not a strong flavor profile, mainly pine resin. Medium body.
