Handpull cask at the New Inn, Harborne, Birmingham. Very very dark brown, pretty much opaque with a tight beige head. Mellow malts on the nose, a hint of smoke. A little vinegar. I think this is starting to go. Bittersweet taste, with treacle and dark caramel, turning to a more assertive bitterness at the finish. Light to medium body, soft carbonation. Good
