A classic IPA that perfectly balances crisp refreshment with maximum hop character. Citra brings the archetypal West Coast flavour and the addition of Galaxy adds a really lovely passionfruity note. We've been a bit hesitant to use too much Galaxy in recent years as the crops have not been 10/10 but this recent harvest sees a huge return to form with the Aussie hop producers really acing our QC panels.

Keg at the Bear, Paddington, 09/05/2025.
Hazed orange topped with an off white cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is grass, orange zest, pineapple, melon.
Taste comprises grapefruit, pine nip, faint minerality, grass, papaya.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close punctured with juicy come lightly resinous hop bitterness ... has some Sabro like qualities at the curtain call.
Not bad if not what I'd class as West Coast particularly.

Can from Cotteridge Wines; murky golden yellow pour (not very west coast), thin white head, aroma has tangerine and light pine, taste has apricot, some yeast, pine, tangerine, if it looks like an east coast and barks like an east coast it’s probably a dog

Can at home picked up from HOTM. A light hazed golden orange coloured pour with a sticky loose white head. Aroma is big sweaty dank hop, weed, loose wheat, papaya, funky citrus, some chive. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, powdery sugar, orange rind, dank, light weed, sticky orange. Palate is spicy citrus, orange, highish carbonation. Good, but not exactly west coast. Palate is semi sweet, spicy , flaked wheat, fine carbonation. Lingering dank hops, little chive.

Thin white head on hazy golden coloured body.
Zesty, lime & hopped up aroma.
Medium bodied, soft over the tongue with a lively but cloying back.
Pale malt, grapefruit, resinous, lime & dank tastes with a powerful hoppy finish.
Right up my street.
