Palate: Medium body. Creamy texture. Long dry, light warm finish.
Overall: Very good stout.

Bottled (backlog). More or less black colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is liquorice, mild roasted maltiness along with ripe fruit and toffee. Flavour is toffee, sweet malts, roasted malts and liquorice. Smooth palate and quite easy to drink.

From tap at the Hoppy Pub, Thessaloniki. Black color with beige head. Roasted malty aroma, chocolate, coffee, licorice, hazelnut, light hoppy. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

500ml bottle. Jet black colour with average to huge, thick, firm, frothy, fairly lasting and lacing, beige to tan head. Sweet-ish, dark malty aroma, a touch of smoke, roast, liquorice, some milk chocolate, some treacle. Taste is dry, slightly roasty dark malty, notes of dark chocolate, espresso. Very intense for its 5.5% abv.

Bottle 500ml. @ home. [ As Le Bilboquet Corriveau ].Clear dark black color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, oat, moderate chocolate. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted bitter, coffee bitter, chocolate sweet, oat smooth. Easy, balanced and very good. Body is medium, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft. [20140714]
