Specialty ale brewed for our Porter and Brown beer tasting and named in honor of our beloved former manager who moved to Boston to pursue a career in interior design. This is a delicious quaffing brew! It is light-bodied, chestnut-brown ale with a subtle combination of malty sweetness, roasted nuts, a hint of citrus, and a refreshing delicate hop finish. Not too hoppy, not too sweet. Very easy-drinking. 5.5% ABV (Alcohol by volume).

Nut Brown[JBs Downtown] Ale–on tap-pours a thin off white head and hazy copper color. Aroma is medium malt-roasty. Taste is somewhat sweet medium malt-roasty, some citrus, earthy. A cross over to a mild ale?

tap at brewpub - Pours dark brown with a thin head. The aroma is very light caramel malt. There’s a big roast caramel malt flavor, a touch of hops, and very light carbonation. The body is on the thin side and is just a little watery. Interesting. Others liked it far more than I did.
