Cask-conditioned at Cellar 59, Lyme Regis 7/7/2016. Dark brown in colour, with a frothy, off-white, head. Aroma of red berries, tangerines, citrus hops and sweetish malts. Flavour was similar, with bready malts, berry and citrus fruit, whiff of pine, and a dryish finish. Enjoyable.

Bottle on holiday in Lyme Regis. Almost clear dark amber beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light, semi dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. The dark malts are thin but bring touches of roast and dark chocolate. Mellow pine hops. Mild berry fruits. Very mild bitterness. Finishes smooth and semi dry and leaves a modest bitter linger. Mellow but flavoursome CDA.

Gravity dispense at EBF ’18, 07/08/14. Mahogany brown with a well appointed light tan covering. Nose is earthy hops, light pine, caramel, floral notes. Taste carries an earthy hop presence, pine bite, chalky minerals, light straw and roasted notes, red berry fruit pang. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a dose of hop bitterness. Ok CDA.

Cask @ Egham Beer Festival. Brown color with a nice dark red glare coming through, average sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, lightly hops, a hint of roast, moderately bitter. Decent body and carbonation. Ok, but not great imo.

Cask - Caramel malts and light earthy hops. Cloudy copper with a decent bubbly head. Roast malts, light hoppy pine notes and a mellow bitterness throughout. Tastes much better than it looks or smells.
