This new beer style is a Belgian-style Sextuple! It is like a Quadrupel that is malty sweet, brown in color, and has a wonderful richness and complexity. But when aged in Bourbon whiskey barrels, this beer is elevated to new heights of flavor!

Can: Poured a murky brown color ale with a small off-white foamy head with OK retention and some lacing. Aroma of sweet Belgian style malt with some residual sugar notes, some caramel malt and some bourbon notes. Taste is also a mix of sweet caramel malt notes with some Belgian style malt notes, some residual sugar notes and bourbon notes. Body is full with good carbonation with some warming alcohol notes. Solid BA strong Belgian ale.

Aroma: sweet, dark fruits, bold.
Taste: along the same lines, boozy.
Overall: too much alcohol in this one, otherwise it is interesting.

250ml can from Tavour. Near black, flat pour. Boozy aroma, sweet, molasses, raisins, fig. Taste is sweet and strong and thick, pit fruit, bourbon and a big alcohol warmth. Sticky, mouth coating with lingering heat.
