330 ml bottle, cellared for 2 years.
Dark golden to amber, clear body, with a small, creamy, white head, that disappears quickly.
Aroma of ripe and dried fruits, honey, booze.
Taste is a bit light, sweet, with lots of honey, dried fruits, some herbs.
Medium to light, oily mouthfeel, with a light carbonation.
Finishes alcohol warming, astringent, medium bitter, quite dry.
Not bad, but a pretty average Heller Bock. The nose is interesting, but otherwise nothing special at all, pretty one-dimensional in my opinion. Maybe it just doesn’t age well, but what I remember from fresh bottle isn’t much better.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, orangey, dark golden colour with late awakening, small, collapsing, white head. Fruity hoppy aroma, hints of dried fruit. Taste is dry hoppy, minimally fruity, hints of dried fruit, subtle sweetness, a touch of vanilla, card board; grassy, woody, hoppy finish. Soft palate.
