Bottle. It pours an unclear dark brown body under a small, dense beige head. The aroma is lightly sourish, with roasted hints, chocolate, oak and some dark fruits. It’s quite carbonated, medium to full bodied, semidry. Roasted notes, caramel, dark berries and a little bitterness. Nutty notes towards the end. I doubt the sourness is intended, but it’s a quite nice one anyway. 140801

Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet, dark malts, chocolate, roasted grain, caramel, malt candy, nuts, grass, coffee. Taste is kind of sour-ish and harsh metallic, grass, sour coffee, harsh roasted grain, hay, metal tank. Medium bitterness, watery and fizzy metallic mouthfeel. Meh!!

Sample at SBWF 2012. Slightly hazy brownish/red with a small head. This beer was mostly about caramel, malt and dark bread. Also some nuts and fruit. Unfortunately, also a touch of chlorine.
