tap at the brewpub - The replicale for 2010 was described to me by the bartender as a brown lager. It pours dark amber with a two finger off-white head. The aroma is of toasted caramel malt with fruity undertones. The flavor is sweet and toasty with a little fruitiness that struck me as kind of odd given the style, almost like it was run through the tap lines they’d been using for their blueberry ale. It wasn’t bad as a result, just kind of odd. It’s light to medium bodied and finishes mostly sweet.
