22 oz waxed and capped bottle purchased at the Evil Czech Brewery and Public House in Mishawaka, Indiana. The pour is slight hazed amber, copper, brown with a one inch light tan head that falls quickly with nice lace. The aroma is sweet Bourbon, wood, hint of vanilla, and toffee malt. The taste is the barrel character of bright alcohol Bourbon and oak wood, turning towards more traditional Oktoberfest notes of toffee malt, and earthy grass. The palate is medium bodied, soft carbonation, evident alcohol heat and lingering maltiness. Solid.
