Still not a big fan of American Brown Ales, but this is one of the more distinctive ones

Shaker pint draft at Oak Highlands Brewery in Dallas, Texas. The pour is a mostly clear amber with a small light tan head. The aroma is fresh pecan nut, soft caramel malt and some additional malt sweetness. The taste is nutty initially, clean fresh pecan nut and soft sweetness then moves more to a grain malt and finishes with some general malt sweetness. The palate is medium bodied with soft natural carbonation and the sweet nut finish. Good integration of the pecan.
